Tennis it's what I do. The season is coming up fast. I am working even harder. Pushing myself to give all that I have. I need to play my game. Mentally and physically.
Here are our team pictures. The first one is definitely my favorite. Our head coach is the one tossing the ball in the air and our assistant is standing to the side of her. We are a force to be reckoned with.
I'm livin' the dream.

Writing. It's What I Do.
In my writing class we were told to write a little summary on ourselves so the teacher could learn a little bit about us. I summarize myself a bit, but I also write about some other things. I just wanted to share what I wrote with you. Enjoy.
Summary of Myself
Everyone has a different type of
personality. Our personalities make us who we are, what we believe, and what we
desire in life.
I
like to think of myself as a different individual who stands out in a crowd.
How many girls do you see walking around campus with short hair that is styled
into a fohawk? Do these girls wear casual clothes and feel good about whom they
are and what they stand for? I know I do. I love being me. I don’t care what
people think about me. Words do not penetrate me, like the stickers that don’t
stick to Lucia the Wemmick, in the book, You Are Special, by Max Lucado. Why
should others define who we are?
At
times I can be a timid individual, afraid of change and new things to come.
Once I have a plan and see what the future can hold, I am ready to go out and
fight for what I want. I get along well with others and try to be a friend to
everyone. You never know when someone is struggling in life and just needs
someone they can call friend. I always want to be that person that others trust
to confide in or that shoulder to lean on.
I
like, Ellen DeGeneres, have a very keen sense of humor. I love to make people
laugh and if you make me laugh until I cry, I’ll write you into my will.
Laughter is the cure to most sad tales, the smile to many faces, and the bond
that brings people together.
Everyday
people are watching, listening and noticing. Show them something they can be
proud of and strive to live towards.

To The Past And Back Again.
Let me take you back in time about a month ago. Back to finals week. The week all college students dread. The week students study more than they ever had all semester. I had three finals to take that week. I studied long and hard.
This is what hourly studying looks like...
All that studying payed off. I passed all my classes, and I am happy with the grades that I received. It feels good to be done with one semester of school. Many more to go. Our schooling never ends.
Thursday night it was just Crystal and I home alone. I longboarded to Denny's for dinner. Then came home to find Crystal and her boyfriend Dustin doing a 500 piece cat puzzle on the couch. Later Dustin left and Crystal and I continued doing the puzzle while watching Gilmore Girls. Crystal took apart our table and used the top of it for the puzzle. We stayed up 'til 3 o'clock doing the puzzle and watching movies. Finally we went to bed.
In the morning, I headed off to the airport to catch my flight home for the break.
Now lets jump back to the present. Wednesday was the first day of spring semester. Lucky me, my first class of the day was General Organic and Biological Chemistry at 7am. Let me repeat that...7AM! Its a two hour class, but I survived. My other classes include, English 102, Writing Reflective Essays, and Math 154. I don't have any classes on Tuesdays or Thursdays. It is so nice. I get to sleep in! Well at least until I have to head to weight class. Tennis practice is now from 1-3pm. The hottest time of the day. When it is a warm day that is. It feels good to be in a new semester though. I love being busy and having tennis practice everyday.
I would now like to pay tribute to our fish, Shark Bait (hoo ha ha). We had to relieve him of his slow death. Shark bait didn't last very long. He started dying shortly after we got him, about a month ago. We all dressed in black and said some encouraging last words before we flushed him down the toilet. We videoed the sad occasion, but unfortunately it will not upload. If I am able to get it to, I will for sure post it.
Goodnight my friends.
