I graduated my EMT class. I couldn't be happier. I'm so proud of my accomplishments. This is what I want to do. I just need to take my national test then I'll be certified. I've been putting off taking the test because I want to pass it the first time. I've been studying and taking practice tests. These two guys have been my brothers throughout the class.
Before the Christmas break we try to eat all our food so it doesn't go bad while we are gone. Sally and I like to eat differently. I needed to finish off my cheerios and milk. Sally only had shreds left.
I spent most of my Christmas break with this awesome stud. My nephew cracks me up. I'm his favorite aunt.
I miss the snow on the mountains and the cool Utah air. Utah will always have my heart. Sally picked me up from the airport when I flew back to Mesa. On our way back to Thatcher we drove up upon our other teammate Kindra. We followed each other all the way home. Stopping for some ice cream was a must.
We gained another player to our tennis team. Her name is Pauline, she is from Zimbabwe. She is so funny. Sally, Coach, and I drove to the airport to pick her up. It was a long ride there and back but it was worth it. Our season starts next week! We head to Texas for our annual tournament then we have a little region tournament. The end of February we finally start region play! We are all so excited! We have been practicing all fall semester and this semester. We are ready to put our hard work into play and be the leaders of the pack again this year. I can't say I'm super excited for the van ride to Texas but we always make it interesting. I love my team. Like I always say, they are my family. We had team photos recently. Some we took ourselves the other two are professionally done. Also, we got 3 out of 6 of our courts refinished with new nets! They look awesome! No more cracks. We have names for them all. For example the Grand Canyon is the worst one. I'll have to post a photo of the new courts later. Our coaches are in the purple shirts. We look awesome.
Life is good. Live Strong. Be Free. Smile
